Fatherhood
Jada had been screaming on and on...for a good part of the morning...again! We were trading her back and forth but nothing we did was helping! She seemed to cry every time she was being fed, even after she was fed! We couldn’t figure out why. How long would this phase last? I was desperate for it to be short, but I didn’t want to tell Maya that or anyone else for that matter. Maya looked at me and said, “This clearly isn’t your favorite age.” It was true. Infancy was really hard for me.
Becoming a father is a beautiful and challenging gift. Fatherhood is an honest journey through fatherhood (the good, the bad and the ugly) told through a collection of personal stories and reflections from a diverse group of new and seasoned fathers. The book includes experiences from pregnancy, labor, and throughout the first year all packaged in easy to digest chunks that dads will want to take the time to read!
